Intellectual Potency. Behind A Shroud Of Mystery.

Only a few people on earth knew Batman’s true identity. Same for Superman and Spiderman. No one cared what Robin’s was, but that’s another story. These superheroes shared a noble cause and their identities were hidden because they had deep psychological problems that they were, um, masking.

Now, the Ideasicle Experts don’t have nearly the same psychological problems (so far). But they do share a noble cause: to come up with unbridled, unbiased, revenue-generating marketing-ideas for our clients. It’s their way of preserving the American way. As such, many of our Experts wish to remain a mystery. But that doesn’t mean we can’t give you an indication of their superpowers.

Expert Sourcing Is Only As Valuable As The Experts Sourced.

There’s a quote in Malcolm Gladwell’s book, The Outliers, that claims, “The emerging picture...is that ten thousand hours of practice is required to achieve the level of mastery associated with being a world-class expert - in anything.”

Well consider this:

Roughly five years of solid 9-5 work to become an expert, at least according to Gladwell. And that’s not including working late or weekends.

Well, the average number of years for the Ideasicle Experts is seventeen. And not just anywhere. Seventeen years through places like Goodby, Wieden, Arnold, Mullen, Chiat Day, Crispin Porter Bogusky, Fallon, BBDO and countless other creative giants.

So that makes them, like, Super Outliers.
