Revenue generating marketing ideas from elite creative minds, quick and plenty.

It's expert sourcing. Not crowd sourcing.

We have assembled and virtually connected a small, award-winning team of creative Experts from tier one agencies and clients around the world to work in teams of four ideating around your business need.

Unlike crowd sourcing solutions, our ideas are not sourced from the unvetted masses, but this potent pool of 25 creative marketing minds. Each was hand-picked by our founder, Will Burns, who worked closely with each and every one of them at some point during his 20-year advertising career at agencies like Goodby, Wieden & Kennedy, Arnold, Mullen, and others.

These marketing “Superfriends” are award-winning creative directors, writers, strategists, agency principals, client innovators, naming experts, PR professionals, designers, multi-cultural experts, digital gurus, social media experts, retail-innovation experts and more.

It's an amalgam of experience, talent, perspective and a whopping dose of zero bias. And we’re breaking all the rules to do it.

Nothing Is Unthinkable

Nothing is unthinkable.

Seriously, nothing. Nothing is ever unthinkable here.

Your challenge for Ideasicle can be about anything in the marketing space, not limited to:

  • Brand Ideas
  • Promotional Ideas
  • PR Stunts
  • Mobile App Concepts & Functionality
  • Social Media Ideas
  • Advertising Concepts
  • Tag Lines
  • Names (for companies, products, features, anything)
  • Short Film Concepts
  • Quick Hits where we do one round of ideas to jump start your own creative process (great for ad agencies and in-house agencies - case study with Vistaprint here)

We also do many Blue Sky Projects where the clients aren't looking for specific ideas, but instead have a marketing problem. In those cases, we will come up with any and all kinds of ideas - given parameters of budget and timing - that solve the problem.

And you'll love this. We don't get all precious and present only three ideas and then try to ram a recommendation down your throat. We present about ten ideas (on average) and don't try to sell them at all. We just present them and listen to your reaction. That reaction feeds our second round of ideas making them even sharper and more potent. In this way, our clients are an integral part of the creative process.

We even have Nothing Is Unthinkable tee shirts.

Zero execution = Zero bias.

As a matter of principle, we do not execute our ideas, we only think of them. It’s liberating, really. We strip away the executional biases by reducing marketing to its essence: the idea. Yes, we leave lots of money on the table, but we don’t care. Our model guarantees that we will never edit our ideas based on the amount of money we’ll make executing them.

Our clients execute using their existing resources or we can recommend a resource from our Preferred Partners List. Sometimes we even assign an Expert to a job with the intention of using his or her agency for execution. There is literally no telling what we’ll come up with, even if it’s free to execute.

Ideasicle expert panels.

We have just begun assembling panels of Experts who share an expertise on an audience or a category. These panels could do traditional Ideasicle jobs and come up with ideas. Or they could serve as an ongoing source by which clients run their own existing ideas to get feedback and improvements.

One we recently launched is Ideasicle: Sport, devoted entirely to sports marketing projects.

We have the ability to organize Expert Teams around women, men, Millennials, kids, college kids, people who love to travel, Vegans, the fashion minded, even owners of pink Cadillacs with poodles who love pasta for breakfast.

Maybe not that last one, but you get the idea.

Expert Sourcing

For the experts, it's like an idea video game.

Expert Sourcing

For the experts, it's like an idea video game.

Ideas are who they are.

"It's like an idea video game." That's how one of our Experts put it when describing his experience on a few projects. And it's not surprising when you consider our model strips away all the parts of the business creative people hate - meetings, production schedules, focus groups, time sheets, client pressures (sorry, nothing personal), agency politics, etc. - and kept only the fun part, the ideas.

Ideasicle compensates our experts in a way that incentivizes teamwork. No one gets paid more for "winning ideas." They all get paid as long as they actively participate. That's because we believe the inspiration for an idea - a notion, a thought, an observation - is just as valuable as the resulting idea itself.

There are virtues to virtual.

Our ideation happens on a password-protected virtual technology platform that makes it incredibly easy for the Experts to absorb a video briefing, post ideas in time-deferred ways, and see each other’s ideas for maximum riffing and building.

Ideas don't happen behind a desk. And no one is creative the same way. So our model is designed to conform to the Experts’ respective creative habits, not the other way around. They can email ideas to the platform, post through their iPhone or iPad, use a desktop application or use the web.

Another expert (a female) said this, "I love that we're reduced to a typeface." You could say our virtual ideation model removes some of the human barriers inherent with in-person brainstorming.

So, whether it’s coming up with creative ideas for a tag line, a more elaborate promotion or even having us “blue sky” creative ideas to solve large marketing problems, we can get you the magic of great thinking very quickly.

Teams of four experts means exponential ideas.

The Ideasicle model thrives off smart clients who can point us in the right direction. Once pointed, nothing is unthinkable. The Experts are already pre-recruited and vetted for genius and speed (we’re not interested in genius in three weeks). Further, the virtues of the virtual model coupled with these Experts working in teams of four dramatically accelerates ideation over more traditional methods with one or two people.

The Experts do not compete with each other like they do in crowd sourcing solutions. Instead, they are incentivized to work their magic as a team, posting ideas and riffing off each other until the polished gems emerge. And it’s that riffing and building between four different talents and perspectives that is the real magic of Ideasicle.

It's quite a sight.

Ideasicle in action: we love a good challenge.

While we can’t divulge the ideas we came up with for Constant Contact, Staples, The Limited, Saranac, Vistaprint, Reebok, or The New York Times, we did find a way to give you a look under the Ideasicle hood, twice.

Below are links to two Forbes articles Ideasicle founder and Forbes Contributor, Will Burns, wrote. Each article highlights an actual Ideasicle session for very high profile products: Google Glass and Apple Watch. For the article, a real Ideasicle team came up with new application-ideas for each.

The ideas are great, but within these posts you will get a view into how we pick the Experts, brief them, and select the winning ideas. Plus you’ll see how we typically present ideas.

Imagine ten ideas like these in a week for your business.

Now scroll back up to the top and click on the Experts link to learn more about their super powers. OR...just click here.
